Coors Light

Colorado coach Kathy McConnell-Miller has had little success in true tournament games in the Coors Classic.
In her first year, 2005, the Buffs lost in the opening round to Northern Iowa, 74-65 in overtime. Colorado did beat Utah State 73-56 in the consolation game.
The 2006 Coors Classic wasn't a traditional tournament, but the Buffs beat Nevada 80-60 and Charlotte 78-65.
Last year, the Buffs again lost in the first round. They fell to Siena 83-74. They came back to beat Rice 72-55 in the consolation game.
But Colorado hit a new low this year. They lost to UMass 70-62 in the opening round and lost the consolation game for the first time ever in falling to Drexel 74-50.
So in true tournament games, McConnell-Miller is 2-4.
