Memo to OU's Capel
Posted March 23, 2008
Quick thought after watching the NCAA Tournament on Sunday:
Oklahoma coach Jeff Capel may have to rethink his list of all-time embarrassing moments.
When Capel's Sooners lost to Colorado earlier this season in Boulder, the OU coach said, " "This is the most embarrassing thing I`ve been a part of."
We're betting the Sooners' 78-48 thumping at the hands of Louisville in Sunday's NCAA Tournament second round might now be atop Capel's list of moments he'd love to forget.
The Sooners were bad in the beginning, and got worse as the game wore on.
Somebody might want to remind Capel that it's OK to practice in between games -- and it's even OK to scout the other team.
Judging from Sunday's effort, the Sooners did neither.
As for embarrassing moments -- never mind Capel, the entire Big 12 can't be too pleased with the Sooners' effort.

Bravo, Neill, bravo. Capel's a jerk and this thumping was a long time coming...

Oklahoma consistently is poorly prepared under Capel. He is way over his head in Norman. He will be on a short leash next season! What a jerk!
