Regional roundup: Buth named to Big 12 Good Works Team
IRVING, Texas — University of Colorado volleyball player Alex Buth was named to the 2007 Big 12 Good Works Team Wednesday.
Each Big 12 school selected one student-athlete for recognition based upon significant community service and good academic standing.

Buth, a junior right side who leads the Buffs in kills, is a member of Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She also participates in the elementary school program Read with the Buffs and visits children in the hospital with Buffalo Hugs.
She has been a member of the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll every semester while at CU.
Cousins earns honor
CU women's soccer player Alex Cousins has been named to the Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week.
The junior scored two goals in as many games over the weekend, including the game-winner to defeat No. 25 Oklahoma State 1-0.
Mammoth inks five
DENVER — The Colorado Mammoth retained some grit with the signings of defenseman Rich Catton and transition player Jim Moss. The team also announced the signings of transition player Scott Davidson and goalies Pete Jokisch and Craig Robertson.
Jokisch was an All-American goaltender at Colorado State.
