CU spikers suffer another five-game loss
Colorado's Emilie Sisco posted a career-high 30 kills, but it wasn't enough to stop the Kansas Jayhawks, who beat the Buffs in five games on Saturday at the Coors Events Center, 16-30, 24-30, 30-24, 33-31, 15-11.
Saturday marked the 10th five-game match the Buffs have lost this season and the fourth they've lost after winning the first two games.

"I would just like to win another couple of matches," coach Pi'i Aiu said. "I think we are playing well, we're just not playing well in the conference. That is something we have to work on as coaches. We need to get them to know how to play well when the pressure is on."
Sisco became just the seventh Buff in CU history to record 30 or more kills in a match. She joins teammate Amber Sutherland, who recorded 35 kills against Missouri on Sept. 13, 2006, in this exclusive club.
"Emilie Sisco was hitting a ton of balls and had some really good balls," Aiu said. "She is starting to turn her season around."
Alex Buth added 16 kills on 33 attempts, and added 10 digs for her 12th double-double of the season. Kaitlyn Burkett dished out 62 assists.
CU fell to 6-19 overall and 1-16 in the Big 12. Kansas improved to 12-15, 5-12.
CU will play at Kansas State next Saturday.
