Buffs fall to A&M in home final
BOULDER — The Colorado volleyball team followed a script that has become all-too familiar this year on Wednesday: the Buffs beat Texas A&M in the first game of the match, then lost three straight.
The 28-30, 30-17, 30-25, 30-23 loss to the Aggies 30-28 dropped to the Buffs to 6-21 overall and 1-18 in Big 12 play. Colorado will close out the season Saturday in a noon match at Missouri.

"I think that was a match like we have played all year," CU head coach Pi'i Aiu said. "We played well at times and we make some runs, but we don't do a really good job of staying in any one part of the game. Texas A&M pressured us a little bit and I don't think we responded well to their pressure."
Schylur Edelman led the Buffs with 15 kills in the effort. Alex Buth added 13 and Mallori Gibson tallied 11. The Buffs hit .147 on the night with 61 kills on 170 attacks with 36 errors. Kaitlyn Burkett recorded 51 assists in the effort.
The Buffs honored their two seniors, Therese Viñal and Kristen Karlik.
Edelman recorded six blocks in the match and now has 107 for the season. She became the first Buff since Lara Bossow in 2004 to record more than 100 blocks in a season.
