Baylor spikes Buffaloes

WACO, Texas -- Senior Amber Sutherland became the 13th Colorado volleyball player to record 1,000 kills in a career on Wednesday night, but the Buffs were routed by Baylor 25-10, 25-14, 25-13 at the Ferrell Center.

Sutherland's third kill of the match gave her the milestone. But it was also her last as the Buffs mustered just 14 in all on -.083 hitting.

Emilee Sisco paced the CU offense with four kills.

Alex Buth had eight digs and Callie Webster added seven.

The Buffs hit the road again on Saturday to take on second-ranked Nebraska at 2 p.m.
