Longhorns can now turn focus to No. 1 Oklahoma
Texas has date with Sooners next Saturday
It took reporters covering the Texas football team only a couple of questions to get to the heart of the matter after the No. 5 Longhorns' 38-14 win over Colorado on Saturday.

That being, of course, UT's matchup next week with Oklahoma in the fabled Red River Shootout.
"We're going to enjoy the win and get back to work tomorrow for OU," said Texas QB Colt McCoy, who hit the Buffs with 262 yards passing and a pair of touchdowns through the air. "They're a good team and they deserve to be No. 1."
Not that the Longhorns were looking past Colorado. After all, it was just a year ago that OU visited Boulder the week before the Red River affair and fell victim to upset.
"You can't overlook Colorado," McCoy said. "They're a great team. The defense played well. They did a lot of different things we weren't ready for."
Not enough, however, to keep the 'Horns from putting five touchdowns and a field goal on the board. Meanwhile, the Texas defense limited Colorado to just 266 total yards, and just 49 on the ground.
"This is a tough place to play," Texas coach Mack Brown said. "I thought our guys played really, really well. Tonight is another example of this team doing what it's supposed to do, and that's come out here and be ready to play a good football team and dominate the game."
And neither did it take Brown long to touch on the upcoming Oklahoma game.
"It's what these two teams should have in midseason," Brown said. "It's two top-five football teams that are playing really well. We'll have everybody in America talking about the game next week, and that's all we want."
The Longhorns certainly looked good in their tuneup. Texas hit Colorado with two quick scores in the first quarter, watched as CU missed three field goals, and then added one more score just before half to take a comfortable 21-0 lead into the locker room at intermission.
Texas then added another score in the third period for a 28-0 lead, and when Colorado finally put points on the board late in the third, the Longhorns ended any CU hopes of a comeback with a four-play, 71-yard scoring drive that gave the Longhorns a 35-7 lead.
"It felt good," said running back Chris Ogbonnaya, who led Texas with 71 yards on the ground and 116 yards receiving. "It's always big for us to win on the road. Overall, we did a great job."
Texas' defense was fearsome. Rod Muckelroy led UT with 10 tackles, and the Longhorns recorded three sacks.
"We can feed off this win," said defensive end Brian Orakpo. "Watch film and fix our errors. Get ready for Oklahoma. It'll be a great test. They're the number one team in the country."
And now there's no more waiting.
