CU harrier Pannone 2nd
AMES, Iowa -- Colorado senior Chris Pannone took second place at the Iowa State Invitational cross country meet on Saturday.

Pannone's career-best finish came in a time of 25 minutes, 58.67 seconds on the 8K course. Iowa State's Clayton Carper won the race in 25:27.69.
Also for CU, sophomores Matt Tebo (25:58.97) and Richard Medina (25:59.25) took third and fourth, respectively. Junior transfer Jordan Kyle placed fifth (25:59.59) while senior Bradley Harkrader was sixth (26:00.29).
Junior Aislinn Ryan led the CU women's team. She was the ninth racer to cross the finish in 22:22.00. Iowa State's Lisa Koll ran unattached and won on the 6K course in 21:06.00
The Buffs return to action on Oct. 4 when they host the Rocky Mountain Shootout.
