Bio: I began reading the newspaper almost every day when I was about 12. I've always read the entire paper, but I devoured the sports section, particularly anything regarding the Chicago Cubs, my favorite team. It took me another 12 years (So, I'm a little slow) to realize I enjoyed newspapers and sports so much I should probably combine the two. My grandfather told me to find something you love and find a way to make money doing it. You'll never have trouble getting out of bed for work in the morning. He was right, except that sports writers often don't have to get out of bed early in the morning. I took his advice. I came to the Daily Camera in February 2004 in a trade with the Albuquerque Tribune. I think the editor there got a couple old computers along with some notebooks and pens in the deal. But I get to live here.
